Our philosophy to teaching is..

based upon a firm belief that every child can succeed at school given the proper encouragement, motivation and tools.

We believe that:

  • It takes the whole community of parents, classroom teachers and other academic state holders to raise a global well- rounded student for academic excellence.
  • Under-achieving students must be identified and reached as early as possible and must be taught effective and lifelong learning skills
  • All students must be challenged to reach their maximum potentials in a caring non-threatening small-group environment
  • Helping a student achieve independence is the tutor's ultimate measure of success for the fulfillment of the student's life- long goal
  • Understanding a child 's weaknesses, learning styles or unique situation is paramount in maximizing the child's strengths and potentials
  • Learning skills and strong positive character must be integrated to empower youth to excel and become confident independent learners

    Our Mission

    Kanmas mission is to provide standard-based educational support services to enrich and accelerate reading, math and science learning experiences of K-12 students and empower them for high achievement in post-secondary science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education.

    Kanmas envisages a caring environment in which all students can achieve, an instructional community that values each student and, a one-stop center that is innovative, technology and standard driven.
